close the doors and take the stairs [28 Dec 2006|01:48am] [ mood | excited ] [ music | the academy is... - slow down ] I've been in Florida since the 20th. It's been alright. I've gotten drunk most nights. Went to my cousin's a few times, that was fun seeing that I got drunk all those times. But let me tell you about Christmas. So I wake up and about half an hour later the weather gets crazy. The winds were crazy and the palm trees were vertical, no lie. The power goes out for like ten seconds and than it went back on and we just go on like normal. Than later we found out that it was a f2 tornado, that's about 113-157mph winds. And we also learned that a quarter of a mile away from my aunt's house four trailer parks were totaled, so yeah that was some night. But later that night me and my bro left with my cousin left. We went to a skate park first which was mad whack because me and my bro don't skate, so we were left to watch my cousin and his friend skate for 20 minutes. Than we left to go back to my cousin's apartment. So much fun. We bought three 18 packs and stayed up playing card games, beer pong, and flip cup. There were only about 10 beers left at the end of night and imagine that split between four of us. Yeah mad fun times. I think I had anywhere from 10 to 12 beers, seeing that I had two beers before I left my aunt's house. And that was my Christmas. Tomorrow I'll be in the magic kingdom in Disney world. [31 Jul 2006|01:13am] [ mood | ecstatic ] [ music | SYSTEM OF A DOWN! - Sugar ] OZZFEST WAS FUCKING AWESOME! SYSTEM OF A DOWN WAS FUCKING GODLY. I can die happy now. All in all, it was great. Everyone, for the most part, put on a great show. Of course system takes the cake. There were some creepy people. Some guy asked me why I didn't get my boobs painted, obviously the reason being that there are perverted guys like him and I would never ever do that. I did flirt with another guy for beer. And once he gave it to me I left him. Hehe. I got bad sunburn. That's what I get for being Irish, but it was well worth it. I really thought Ozzy could of put on a better show. I guesss I expected too much from him. It also was hot as balls and I couldn't stand being in the crowd. Atreyu was good. A7x and Disturbed were really great. Lacuna Coil was pretty good. I enjoyed their cover of Depeche Mode a lot. But, System of a Down, by far, was the best. If I counted correctly they played 21 songs or something like that. Ahhhhhh, amazing! I'm such a happy person in more ways than one. =) take the stairs

I can't recall which day it was but the night spent at Cross County was too much. Before I was actually in cc, Lauren, Nicole and I went to Bronxville to meet up with Christen at her job. We walked from the CVS in Bronxville all the way to cc. That was the most tiring walk of my life. We get there and everybody is drunk for the most part. Security kept on telling us to move where ever we went, which was annoying. So basically the whole night was back and forth. By the end of the night we wound up outside Applebee's just sitting around. Then the cops came. And that sucked, but they were cool about everything but they still took all our ID's. It sucks because my dad works in that precinct so he obviously found out I was there. Some of us were guilty by association, but how am I going to explain that to my dad? He's been calling me all day today and I refuse to pick up. When I get enough courage to actaully answer his phone calls I'll just be full out honest. Also that was my first time in Cross County in god knows how long which is another thing he might not believe. =/ Last night was fun. Worked from 11-6:30, went all over Yonkers afterwards, and drank. AND I played Guitar Hero which was awesome, but too bad I suck. I plan on purchasing it in the near future. I'm excited because Christian is coming home! Correction, he just got home!
